Potholes on Three Roads in Kelapa Gading Being Repaired

Seven personnel from Bina Marga Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta, repaired potholes on Jalan Boulevard Raya, Jalan Boulevard Selatan, and Jalan Boulevard Timur.

Repairs are using hotmix and coldmix asphalt

Kelapa Gading Sub-district's Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Ismail Daru said that there were three spots repaired on three roads. Two were on Jalan Boulevard Raya, three on Jalan Boulevard Selatan, and two on Jalan Boulevard Timur.

"The road was damaged due to vehicle loads and asphalt filling due to rainwater. Repairs are using hotmix and coldmix asphalt," he expressed, Wednesday (1/24).

He detailed the potholes repaired with hotmix asphalt were 10x3 meters, 3x2 meters, 15x1 meters, 5x3 meters, and 9x4 meters. While repairs with coldmix asphalt were executed at two spots measuring 3x1 meters and 50x50 centimeters.

"This repair involves seven yellow troops using baby roller, hoe, shovel to rubber cone," he explained.

By doing so, it was expected to create a sense of security and comfort for road users.

"This is our routine agenda. We urge people who see potholes to make a report to us for further action. We don't want any more victims," he stressed.

While, one of the online motorcycle taxi drivers, Hariyadi, expressed his appreciation and thanks to the personnel who had conducted road repairs.

"Earlier I saw three potholes on the road that had just been patched. The neater it looks, the more safe and comfortable passing motorists will feel," he stated.
